i wanted to make a new unit using the IFV's gunner turret image
and i dont think image=IFV will work
so would i have to code it with those multiple turret and weapons tags?
because i wanted the new unit to look like that always without passengers
so does anyone know the right codes or tags?
that would save me lots of time guessing and testing
i would be very greatful for any help or tips on this subject

only one thing to do, rename the gunner turret to IFVtur(1) and IFVtur(1) to whatever the gunner is.
I think ;9

maybe, but if you do what he says to do you have to change the ifv code too
for your tanks art entry:

TurretAnim=IFVTUR

for the ifv's rules entry:

NormalTurretIndex=1
MachineGunTurretIndex=0

For the love of... Copy fv.vxl, fv.hva, fvtur1.vxl, fvtur1.hva and rename them to gun/guntur respectively. Then code up your new unit with Image=GUN and add appropriate art(md).ini coding.
