NPatch 1.00 released!
Subject description: New Rock Patch with new rules for the world domination!
So, let's start with the old news first, shall we? CnCVK has released the NPatch 1.00. This is a project like Rock Patch, with similar featues than Rock Patch 1.10. You can add new sides, superweapons, animation cursors, radiation types and a lot of features to your YR mod, expanding the moddability of the game. The differences between NPatch 1.00 and RP 1.10 are a customizable main menu, toggle power on/off button, Prerequisite2= and a different installation that allows the use of both Yuri 1.001 and NPatch together.
Since it's the first release of NPatch series, this version might be a bit unstable, but you can help it by getting stable by posting the except.txt and a description of how it crashed on our Red Alert 2 Editing Forums (since it does not have official forums so far). If VK see your post, he'll be able to help and hopefully try to fix the bug (if it exists).
The main difference between NPatch and Rock Patch are the project rules. If you wanna use NPatch in your public mod, you must abide by these rules. Due to the risk of having a mod invalidated by a newer release of NPatch (since you can't distribute it), we currently only recomend the use of NPatch on private mods.

The polemic rules of NPatch already caused a major havoc on many C&C communities, specially PPM. Use this patch if you want. If you disagree with the rules, don't use it in your mod. Here in PPM, we endorse constructive comments for the hard work of others. We believe that people can get their skills better, if they receive tips and help to improve them. Posts that promotes bashing and boycotting of the author and his work will not be tolerated. They do nothing good to our forums, it only promotes chaos. NPatch demanded a lot of effort from VK and it has a lot of potential to become even greater. Of course, we would be happier if the patch could be distributed with released mods, to prevent cases of mods where the author moves into something else and a tag used by the mod is renamed, changed, rendering the mod invalid.
Anyway, this patch provides a lot of new functionalities that expands the possibilities of what can be done in the future mods. I hope it's useful and
