Command & Conquer: Tiberium Catastrophe!

Alexander "Killerratte" Schützner and his friend have posted very funny Command & Conquer related movie at New Grounds, few days ago. Command & Conquer Tiberium Catastrophe makes fun of the Tiberian Dawn universe, from weird GDI commander, to incompetent MCVs, pussy Grenadiers and lots of explosions.

You'll see some weird things too, like an inovative way for construction yards killing annoying soldiers (yea, no joke... Construction Yard kills!), how to crush your grenadier friend to blow a buggy and movable obelisks of lights. I can't tell more, otherwise I'll give it away.

We really recommend this movie for some great laugh. Watch it HERE and have fun!

Trivia fact: The German part near the end, what the nod troopers say, is from the German dub of Full Metal Jacket, from the boot camp part, where the privates are jogging through the base.

Not quite, if you have a look at the end of the soviet campaign in RA1, and the soviet insignia from Renegade 2's concept art, you will see that nod came out of crushed soviet russia.

Nod didnt come from the Sovetsky Soyuz. Nod's a right wing religious group which claims its leader is the messiah, yet so many people say Nod is a 'BUNCH OF FUKKIN COMMIEZ!!1 LOL!1', when Marx/Lenin/Stalin/Engles' thoughts would be on the total opposite page of the political spectrum. Westwood was too vauge with connecting RA and TD, so RA's probably best thought of as an alternate reality...

Kane is Egyptian, so Nod obviously originated in the middle east. Hence the pyramids, scorpions, obelisks, all very Egyptian. I can guarantee you won't find any of those things in Russia. But there is no doubt that Russia was absorbed into Nod later on.

Kane is not Egyptain, its hebrew, i beleive, but Russia didnt get absorbed, either. Russia IS at the time of TD a member of the U.N. and is SHOWN ON OFFICIAL WW MAPS to be a member of the GDI alliance. Russia also was a G8 member(or was it G7 during TD?)

Yes Russia was part of GDI early on, but through the years Nod influence grew and eventually tore allies from the GDI. As for Kane the name is Hebrew, but his nationality is egyptian.

Nod came out of russia, kane was seen all around the soviet campaign, and, at the end, killed the lady who killed stalin etc etc etc... And, kane's nationality is not the point, although I havent seen it mentioned anywhere by westwood. Non-soviet russia joined the GDI.

If you have a look at renegade 2's nod insignia, it's a soviet sickle, turning into a scorpions tail at the end.

true, but that's only the russian part of the Nod. Nod has been, and is a global organisation, it didn't born in a specific place, but Soviet union brought the power for it.
