Subject description: Send your buildings and C&C3 maps before it's too late!

Hello everyone! We'd like to remind that we have two contests running at PPM and friendly sites. One of the Small Buildings Contest 2007. You have until tomorrow (july 28th) to send your building (TS) to at least one of the judges (which includes yours trully) in a PM following these rules.

And we are also supporting the Open Map Competition 4 that is accepting C&C3 skirmish/multiplayer maps until August 20th. You can send as many maps as you wish, but you must follow the symmetry rules. We've already refused more than 7 maps for ignoring the symmetry rules. This contest is striving for creative and fun maps and you can get a lot of prizes if you reach the top 6. EA will be supporting it, but we are still not aware of what kind of support EA will provide. There is only a promise of something big comming up.

BTW I guess that anyone who is entering to the small buildings contest, shouldn't send the submission to the DvD since he is, AFAIK, away #Tongue and might not be able to check them.

Just posting this to prevent anyone (who was going to enter), from not being in the contest.

My building's almost good to go, just gotta put shadows on my buildup, then I'll send it in.
Anyone have some good techniques for doing that BTW?

(keep in mind I'm not using a 3D model, just a 2D image...)

I personally think those symmetry rules are to strict. Cmon you cant even have the same starting positions even if the terrain is symmetrical. thats just annoying.

I sent my building to DvD, do I need to "re-send" it to an other judge? Read this thread today Rolling Eyes

why don't you just send it to another judge , just for in case, if they already have, there will be no problem i guess, but if they don't and if they don't read this post, i would be ashame of your shp

Well I stated it as a probability, though as k212 said, just send it to another judge; be sure to include a link to the DvD's topic at tibweb (just in case Laughing) and explain them why you're doing that #Tongue

If you sent it to one of the judges, it's not needed to send to another judge.
