Weird creature of the C&CTV Trailer!

APOC emailed some webmasters with the following message today, to announce the C&CTV:

Any tips on what is it? Is it some kind of cyborg reaper? Or it is simply the avatar and it's not being easy to recognize it? Post your bets!

It reminds me of the Strogg from Quake 2, I must admit. So, it's still an expansion pack in the making but they don't want to flat-out admit it?

I think they had to change their announcement, because the main teaser trailer wasn't ready. If this is the reason that C&CTV was announced instead of an expansion, then APOC made the right move.

I think it looks a bit like the Nod Black Hand from C&C3, except that doesn't look like a flamethrower on his wrist.

Hmm... Look at hes waist, its thin and mechanical looking... So its a possible its a cyborg, it dont look like there is much Human properties on him.

Well Apoc suggested multiple viewings of the trailer so there obviously must be something interesting there.
This fella seems to be what alot of people have latched onto.

And the wording of that intel file about CABAL's bunkers ("believed" to be the last one) was clearly leaving it wide open for a return of cyborgs.

The Nod logo is odd though, unless Nod have managed to control CABAL. Though they might have just theived the technology again.

Not really, they could say that the Brotherhood has implemented cyborgs in a different way than in TS; were they appeared to be computer controlled reanimated corpses. They could be using it, in a similar way than GDI used cybernetic technology(in one of the old Westwood's pages it was affirmed that GDI's Disk Thrower's had bionic implants in their arms).

Anyways it could still be a CABAL's unit since they may want to keep it secret so they gave it Nod's logo. Or CABAL itself might be still using Nod's logo as he thinks that he's loyal to Kane's will.

I think it could be an upgradeable blackhand unit. There was something about that in the pre-release news a while ago, you know before the game came out.

if cabal returns i might get cnc 3 finally, just caused by the expansion, however it depends on how he comes back.

but finally this design if its a cabal unit, then it is the way it should be because it kicks ass.

Well as we all know from the Nod ending in FS Cabal and Kane are one and when, this is extrapulation, when kane is gone cabal tries its way to make humans able to live in the new world, but when Kane is around Cabal was a loyal AI so this could mean that he has returned either as an allie of Nod or as a foe of the world again, but I bet he has something to do with Kane's activation of Kane's Tower to where it goes, we will see though.

To me it looks like a mixture between the Avatar and a cyborg.

It's an Avatar because:
-it has a large laser gun on his right arm
-it has the same shoulder pads
-it has the same torso

But it's a cyborg because:
-it's head (looks human-like)
-it's ''belly''
-it's arms (upper part then)

I think it is an upgrade for avatars, so they become large cyborgs Laughing

cabal wasn't kane, cabal was a copy of kain that got mad when it decyphered the tacitus that opened new possibilities to the AI, petroglyph confirmed it, reffering to the FS nod ending.

EDIT: ive zoomed, and played with contrast effects and researched the image over PS and iam absolutely sure that its origin is Cyborg
there are now 3 possible things what it could be,
personal scrin infantry form (i don't think)
cabal (80% sure)
nod reactivated cyborg units? (20%) because it has a nod logo on its head and its electronic effects are coloured Red what its showing its side colour for me, but iam not sure

but for what iam 100% sure it IS a cyborg.
