The Highlights of Enlightment.

I propose, a new mod concept, most likely for YR.
I have gotten more time now, to which I want to spend on various art projects, which are all segments or particules of a greater scheme.
I remember when Banshee, released his Shp Maker, encouraging .shp artists to make good shps, but no Picassos!
It stuck with me....ever since..and I think why not. =P
I announce the atom that may or may not be.
Decay or Fusion.

The concept is loosely based cesspool on anything really, majorly alluding to Lewis Carroll's AiW. Wizard Oz, and such works. Definately on the same planes of American McGee's Alice but not quite.
I admit Something a bit new and fresh, which will definately require alot of high grade talented work. So anything is greatly appreciated!
To my follies on SoD, I hope not to make the same mistakes again.
I'm thinking the forces of Madness use stereotyped things to represent Madness, such as fear and such forces playing on people's fear. Like Clowns, Demons, Nightmarish evil ghosts, Spiders, etc.
Forces of Sane will have pretty much the same lines as comforting images, like Angels, White Knights, etc etc.

It's nice to play with these stereotypes so people can understand what is being presented to them. While "good vs evi"l It does fit the mold, since its war, some people need familiarity to associate with..damn GDI lovers.
and the storyline does incorporate it aswell. since it alludes to "Evil" but in a different sense. Its psychological down to the very neurons...beyond all imagination!....Its the alter ego..
but it doesnt mean, that the otherside would be the total opposite in nature. When it just might be even worse.
anyways on to the good stuff.
The easiest way I can summarize the storyline is.
"Alice" I want to use a different name...to avoid overuse.
Has been having strange visions, headaches and completely breaks down one night. They take her to speciallized doctors,
takes place in the future. They are perplexed by this strange disorder and they agree to construct a computerized chip that would balance these negative forces out. i know a farfetched notion of cybermedicine and nanobots!
and although its this a whimiscal nighmare, I really would like to stay away from RPG magick. Sure there are "monsters and daemons" but only because, we, she wants or just sees them that way. Exaggerations of fear, since fear and its family of negatives can come even in the most...mundane forms.
To break down my vision into a mod planning format. Everything would definately come from scratch.
X factions New units, the whole deal...
. The obvious faction is being the Red Queen's forces and her allies. And a legion of Nanobots, who are merely reinforcing her own psychological defense mechanism.
New environments, I want locals to be different than the norm.
So one would be battling on Cerebal, Circut, and "Wonderland"
since they are all totally different would need their respective artworks. Terrian, overlays. etc.

So this "Crimson Mistress", is she an evil hero unit that can deploy and change into different forms? So press "D" in normal form and she roots and becomes an even tougher plant form, but cannot move. Press "D" again and she becomes a flight form breathing razor sharp cards? (just an idea ) but weaker. Press "D" a final time and reverts back to the well balanced normal form. It could be a very versatile unit.
Indeed I really think you should stay away from using Alice, like said before it's overused, and when people come to play it they'll refer to it as the "Alice" mod. Which isn't really good when you think about it. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Yea, that is true, and the reason why I want to avoid overusing certain elements that are stereotypical... I definately want to avoid getting dubbed the "Alice" mod...especially when its phonetic similiarities to Carivean's project. Which I think has great potential.,
the conceptionals are still raw and in their infant stages, as progress evolves things will change.
In the weaker form she travels in most of the time to gain her strength "photosynthetics" She lobs seeds that explode into thorns, and strangles victims with her tendrils....
, her other form, is a Wasp like mutation. The Royal faction is remarklingy insect-like, and the structures are plant/organic like growths, that have enslaved most of Rose's Cerebellum.
I thought up of some units.
The Royale Syndrome. Invaders of the mind.
Celluar Wall.
Aphids - Anthropods raised to harvest.
Wroth. A terrifying reptilian scopion hybrid.
Venus Trap. use your imagination.
Flesh Goose. Its a heavy tank like organism.
Hydra. A parasite that anchors itself into the ground.
"The Psyche" Defenders of Rose.
Hemogoblin-Footsoldiers fighting against the Royal.
Munchkin. A small toad like being that hopps about. They are known to bloat up and explode into a nasty mess, due to the pumpkin grenades they carry.
The girl, is Rose. Her mind is a battlefield and memories are the citys which The Royale Syndrome threaten to take over. _________________ Delirium.. QUICK_EDIT
