Just Wondering...

Do you think if EA makes enough money off of Kane's Wrath they would consider starting Renegade 2 up? They say they want to listen to the fans now, so I think we would all like this right? Imagine the next best next-gen shooter being a CC!!! Even if they took everything straight from red alert or tibsun there would be more units, weapons, and characters than like Halo, and diversity is where the fun is. The scorpion can kiss the Mammy's ass. If we want to get back at bungie for killing Halogen, we need to get EA to make a shooter that would trump Halo. I know some of you are like "down with Ea", but they've done alright, and this topic kinda seems to come out of no where... but do you think it would be good?

But they should make one, they might make it good, but in a different way than the orginals.

Yeah, well, I just hope EA make it a bit more CnC alike and a proper storyline game with better missions. Starting to help then.

I sense another Westwood - EA fest approaching, avoid it. Anyway we have A Path Beyond for Red Alert in first person shooter, I guess it would be pretty neat to play as a devils tougue or a banshee, or play as the cyborg infantry etc.

We'll get CnC Generals Renegade though.

You'll have to wait for Reborn for that. Now that the dev team has been reorganised there might be a release this side of 2010.

Think Ren2 would be better in ra2 or tibsun? I can imagine what kind of upgrades they could have from the original. Imagine each side had one "commander" who didn't actually fight, but had that good 'ole birds eye's view and could give out orders and stuff, maybe control the ai and base defence like an old school rts, but actually be fighting against fps.
