Structure building animation lags game. A way to stop it?

When building, the build animation (the green overlay on the right) for structures causes the game to lag. After the structure has finished building, the frame rate picks up & the game is smooth again.

Is there a way to edit the rules.ini file so this stops happening?

You COULD make a blank anim with the same name, but that'd prevent you from playing online..

Replacements don't make you incompatible for playing online.

Else all my vxl and infantry replacements would be trash, and I've had a rouge encounter with Deezire's mod not uninstalling all the way and leaving elocaldeezire.mix, and the fog SHP was left behind. Long story short, I had somewhat full map revealing on the terrain, but the minimap read it the same either way.

I have to confess here Laughing

I did the same thing with the elocaldeezire.mix but from Deezires mod for RA2:YR instead. Luckily I dont play Redalert2 much online but when I do I have half visible fog and I am able to see everything.
