that is a very interesting bug. it seems the game does not properly zbuffer sections with each other so it draws entire sections over entire other sections. we've known this for a while now but we are still trying to figure out what determines what order the sections get drawn. this screenshot is very interesting because it seems you are using the same vxl but in some cases the main body is drawn last and in other cases the spinning part is drawn last. can someone make an in game animation or describe why the draw order is changing?

we feel the solution will ultimately be that you must break the voxels into sections and put them in order of height and make the splits where animation sections are.

in this case the sphere part should be cut where the top of the spinning part is, the bottom of the sphere should be drawn first, then the spinning part should be drawn next and then the top of the sphere should be drawn last.

Yeah Vipr that overlapping is a mistake on my part..
In simple terms the turret is the entire spinning section only, I might remake the whole thing with the sphere cut in the center and the remapped part (former turret) pasted onto the top section of said sphere to correct the problem...I hope #Tongue

i think it won't look right if you cut the sphere in the center. i think you have to cut it where the top of the red spinning part was. if you cut the sphere in the center but then move that center upwards so it's level with the top of the spinning red part then that will also look fine and i think that's what you did.

sorry to go on about such details but i'm trying to get the next version of 3ds2vxl finished and i need to know these things.
