Subject description: is AIControl have its limits??

well in my mod i have multiple Radar type building and i was wondering if

BuildRadar= has its building limit...

BuildRadar=GAAIRC,NARADR,AMRADR,NAPSIS,AIRCGEN,NARADR2,NARADR3,GAAIRC2,NARADR4,GAAIRC3,GAAIRC4,GAAIRC5,NARADR6,NAPSIS2,NAPSIS3,NAPSIS4,NAPSIS5,GAAIRC6


because after GAAIRC3, it doesnt build battle Lab O__o or is AI confused??

Well, there is a limit, but not in the way you expect it to be.
The internal array could hold infinite (well, as much as your RAM can hold xD) buildings, but WW made most of their INI loading routines only load 128 characters.

Your list is 139 characters.

But doesn't it work in order like this: 'Allies radar', 'Soviet radar', 'Yuri radar', 'Extra sides from RP radar'? If so, this would be a problem.

The build list aren't bound to sides.
When the AI wants to build something, it goes through that list. The first building in the list that the AI's country can build (Owner flag) will be chosen.

The complete AITriggerType (i.e. everything that comes after the "=") can be 512 characters, of which the name can be 48 chars.

Yes.

Unless you use the RockPatch or NPatch. I think in 1.08 I increased the limit specifically for the Owners tag (cause it limits the number of possible countries extremely).

mmm i see...

well im still on this AI problem...
players can build the correct prerequisite but AI stucked at building(maybe war factory or the Airforce command and goes off the tech tree)... and some buildings are not built


i dont know either if it something to do with the prerequisite tags of the buildings

or the clogging of the base with units or defenses...


i still dont touch the AIMD.ini...
