Here is my nod pyramid. It'll be an advanced tech building.
Tell me what you think (apart from "the shadow is crappy", I did it quickly just to test the building)

something seems wrong... It's either the perspective, or the proportions...

I agree, the angle is wrong, what program did you use to make this?

Building angles are slighty different in my mod but as I replace most (maybe) of the building it looks ok. I'll scale it down a little too and that will do the trick. I'll post a screenshot with some of my other buildings because it indeed doesn't fit ts design (thats part of my objective actually ...).
The weird shadow is also involved in the angle effect because this building has nearly (maybe exactly ?!) the same "inclinaison" as original ts ones.

@Blade : I used sketchup and photoshop.

@blubb : about what parts are you talking (for the texture issue) ??

I don't like how you used 2 different angles on the pyramid makes it looks like its leaning how ever it might look good for the damaged frames

Honestly, if you will replace every structure with that perspective in mind, the result wont look very enjoyable.

In my opinion i think it looks good as it is, nothing really wrong with the angle. Although i think the black areas of the pyramid should be lit and shaded more like the other nod structures... Otherwise it'll just look like a black lump with red bits Wink

i think he means the angles from the side and front. Due to the sides Southwest and Northeast are different to SouthEast and NorthWest ist looks odd. If you look long enough it seems correct, but if you make it symmetric it would look better. The bend of the southern border between the foundation part and the top part makes it look odd.

in TS, the cells are at an angle of about 27 degrees..
a line with rise=1, run=2

shp builder has a 'show grid' option that you can use for reference, to get your building in the right perspective

it's done on purpose, it's not exactely a pyramid.
(But it's supposed to be a tech building and not a tomb Wink)
