About CnC3 mods....

Hi all! i need help about playing mods with my CnC3... I have Kane's Edition and patch 1.4 french installed on it, but i have downloaded a mod called ...jeeprubimod or kind like that... How do i do to install it? It puts renegade skins into cnc3 but i don't know how to do... Thanks, Bill Very Happy

You need at least TW 1.7, as 1.4 has no mod support...

I guess the mod contains a *.sku and a *.big file?

mods will only work with v1.07 or higher.
when the TW control center pops up(after you put the disc in), click on game browser and select the "mods" tab on the window that appears.

This is the simplest I can explain it

ok thanks a lot... I'm downloading 1.08 patch... And otherwhise, how can i do to put the GDI soldier skin from renegade to cnc3? thanks, bill

I've installed 1.08 patch, and i've put a no cd crack because i've broken my cnc3 cd... (don't ask me i know i'm an idiot...)

So, i don't know if there is a specific no cd for a specific patch, but here it was written cnc3 nocd 1.2... Embarassed

And now i have this: A F U C K I N G C R A S H M E S S A G E when i play...

That would be because your using a no cd crack. Either buy a new copy of the game or dont play it, but dont use cracks.

Im sure i have read somewhere that its easy to make Tiberium Wars run local without a DVD...

that's ok i found a no cd for the 1.08 version and it works... how do i do to put that mod now?

?????? after installing the patch there is no C:......\mods file....

It's a folder and if it's not there, just create it.

you put the "mods" folder in your C&C 3 TW folder, which is found in my documents(folder is named mods, SDK installation automatically creates it for you)

With patch 1.07/1.08, there was an extra button in the Control Center/Launch Menu. (The menu which would autorun when the disk was put in.)
You click the Game Browser, you then select the tab which says mods, and then you select which mod you want to load.

The Control Center auto-runs when you insert the game disc, but since you're using a no-CD that won't happen of course so you'll just have to use the link in Tiberium Wars' folder in the start menu.
