wondering is the only way to make a close combat unit give it a weapon with like 1 range and the appropriate movement anim? Question

why yes?

what else did you have in mind? but you can play around with ambient damage, and adding damage to weapon's animation...and particle systems.

also instead of creating a new forum can you make a infantry with a jumpjet jump only when you give the command like on dawn of war? because i was gonna make the assault marines for the space marine race
