Well, its taken long enough, but its finally here..

The Battlecast Viewer for C&C3, the free program which allows you to watch C&C3 match replays, without buying the game.

If you already own C&C3, there is no real point in getting it. You can already watch game replays from within C&C3. Or better yet, you can play your own games Wink.

But you can spread the word to your friends who haven't bought the game, so they can see your awesomeness, or n00bishness ingame.
And maybe even do enough to convince them to actually buy the game.

Check it out.

I thought to see it requires 1.4 gig of harddisk space, but i could have mis-readed it (i hope so, 1.4 gig is a lot to download)

It does take 1.4 gigabytes of space. Which is a lot.

And I would make the assumption that it would have most of the same requirements as C&C3 itself.

Pretty heavy.

i really dont see the point of this, your better of downloading the demo. how many people watch replays anyway? your better of just watching battlecast.

Well it might gather new customers that will buy the game. So in the end it's extra money for them. Though it may be too big for that :S

I'm with Wess.

At least it (and the constant patches and SDK updating) shows they're willing to put alot of effort into C&C3.

look at the bottom right picture. I see scrin units and some type of gdi units. Can someone determine what units those are?

Well, in the bottom right I can only see GDI mammoth tanks with the Kane edition skinning. Infantry are too blurred to make out, but I'd presume their from C&C3 and not Kane's Wrath, because the Battlecast viewer is for watching C&C3 replays.

Those pics are all from Kane's Wrath. The Mammoth skin in Kane Edition isn't black, but light grey. I think they look black because of area lightning (maybe a dark map or so).
The other units are( from left top to right bottom) upgraded Tripods and Seekers, some new Scrin infantry unit, some kind of Chem Spray Infantry, the Reckoner (Nod apc), Awakened (Nod cyborgs) and Shatterers (GDI sonic hover tanks).
