In order to get some cool missions going for cnc3, why not emulate the concept of OMC4 but instead restrict the map type to missions! I think it would be an interesting way to introduce QUALITY missions to cnc3. As of the games release I only know of 1 mission that was released, which really isn't a lot if you think about it. Here are some suggestions for judging:

10%=aesthetics/quality of the map
15%=[fun factor]:[difficulty] of mission
25%=quality of scripts
25%=complexity of scripts
**15%=quality/purposefulnesses of modded units on map (IE ini editing on map/edited units function to serve another purpose on the game, etc)
10%=story behind mission

**if this section is not on map disregard it and use a .95 curve on the score. Rate the map out of 85.

As omc4 was, entries should be anonymous. With each map submitted a readme should be included which gives background of the mission and any hints needed to help the judges complete the missions faster and rate them.
What do you think, is it a good idea, could it work, would you participate?

I'm only organizing one contest at once. At the moment, finishing OMC4 for C&C3 is my priority. But I'm also trying to organize a TS edition, since TS has always been the traditional OMC supported game since its origins. If the TS edition works, I'll probably try Generals or RA2... I definitelly have no plans to organize one dedicated for missions, but if someone happens to organize it, I will support it with PPM.

never said it had to be done now or that it had to be done at any point in time. But if one were to organize such an event, what resources would they need.
