My so far... "UNFIXABLE ERROR"

I keep getting internal errors at random times in a skirmish game, i'm running Windows SP2 Home Edition and i have tried loads of things to get it to work, here's a list of all the things i can remember that i've tried which havn't helped:

-Checked for Rules.ini (mods) in SUN directory
-Reinstalled
-Set Windows compatabillity mode to win95
-Turned advanced text serices off
-Tried with a different disk
-Installed with a different disk
-Erasing un-needed files from the SUN directory
-Turned down visual details
-Installed patch 2.03

did you make a custom map or something and your trying to play on it, or it just crashes whenever you play a skirmish game? Confused

That EIP is VERY high, dont even point to any part of the game code :S

Reinstall/find new video card drivers.

ok this may sound stupid, But a while ago the problem just fixed itself.

I went on the game and played 5 skirmishes and it worked. O.o
Oh well, thanks for trying to help me out anyways. Smile
