Voxel, or .shp, who cares ?
You only go into art .ini,
put unit name between [ ] these 2,
and specify if you want voxel for it, by:
"Voxel=yes"

Now: question/idea (u'm confused about this):

Would assigning voxel to infantry work, and would anyone try that,
and how it can be done ? (maybe for units "snowman-like",
or other REAL weird infantry units we want to make) ?

whats the use of using voxel for infantry?
shp are way more detailed and can have a lot of different animations, while voxel only have 1 hva animation.
Using voxel fopr infantry would be unbelievable useless... Confused
And no, it cant be done.

Btw, that is one of the reasons why people care if its a voxel or a shp.... Wink

Ever heard of things like "Sequence=", "Walkframes=" and "Facings="?
There are a lot of differences between voxel units, shp units, shp infantry and shp buildings....

...and you've tested this to prove it works? Just saying because almost the entire community knows it doesn't. Infantry are way more complex than vehicles.

You should actually TRY things before you come on here and post junk topics about things everybody already knows.

If he was new, I'd understand. I made my first infantry using a .vxl maker, not knowing the difference.

I tend to stay away from making infantry.

I dont know, never even tried this, but the InfantryClass calls the code for loading Voxels.
