Subject description: All the stuff I forgot
Reply with quote  Mark this post and the followings unread

Once upon a time, there was a land named PPM. This land was ruled by the cruel Banshee lord and his Minion, Muldrake. In this land, many people lived and still do. One of the people who lived in that land, and still do, is Denmon. Denmon was a young man who ran a painting buisness. He made many paintings which he forged life into by magic, making them move and live. But there were many things he made that were never finished, and eventually beacame forgotten.

And there goes my imagination... Anyway, this pack will be a pack of all the stuff i started but never finished. Stuff I forgot about untill I took a look into my old online art folder.

This topic will have a couple of previews and whatnot for you guys to judge cruely (dat suckz u faking n00b, dai in hell tard, etc).

I never was that good at making shp's I think. I mean, looking back at my work, it was all pretty simple stuff that got exaggerated... I don't think I ever was as good as people claimed, I don't think these are that great either but they are worth finishing and may be of use to someone.

But don't think this is entirely unselfish beacuse it's not. These have abit of a nostalgic value to me.

So, here are previews for some of the work I'll try and finish.

Not much, I know but alot of stuff is on my old harddrive so I'm gonna have more to show and do once I've got my files from it.

Feel free to go nuts and use funny image macros now.

No, you had real talent for SHPs if you ask me; your work was fairly unique and well thought out. Nice exposition by the way.

Is if you want it to be #Tongue

Yes it's a cyborg. His fire frames will be completly reworked, his arms will nudge and his body lit up abit after each burst.

Thank you, and yes.

All credit for the new barney goes to IcySon55 for rendering the mdl for me so I wouldn't have to start over on him due to the dark colors on the black canavas.

Actually, it's Icy who is making the barney this time. Read my above post.

Yes, I was using Jeds HLMV and then taking a screenshot of every single frame. This took alot of time and was boring and frustating as hell.

So Icy offered to make it for me if I could convert it to a format he could use in 3dsmax.

You can export textures and .mdl with jeds. Then you have to use a decompiler on the mdl file to get a series of .smd files that you then import into 3dsmax with an importer. Please drop this topic now xD

Finish the middle one, it looks the best out of the three.

The first one could use new leg animations, TBH, they're quite unconvincing of movement.

The third one is good, but would look extremely odd in a TS/RA2 mod. More of a pretty SHP to show off talent.

At first I actually thought you were making a Forgotten infantry pack.

Ah well, first two would be usefull I guess. Second one looks particullarly nice.

The first one(cyborg) will have its animations completely remade. Iam currently reamking its fire anims, you can see a small preview attached below.

The second one is a Recolored seal which I removed the helmet from and added a little remap to the leg on. Not resized. To him I will also give a brown or black armor.

The thrid one is being rendered by IcySon.
