Right, so on with the news! And I apologise if I miss stuff. Tell me, and I'll add it.
Lets start with the Official C&C3 stuff:
-> Apoc wields the Banhammer!
Tired of cheaters and hackers in C&C3? Well Apoc has fulfilled his promise of kicking the asses of those who play unfairly.
75+ accounts have been nuk- banned. A small number perhaps, but a step in the right direction, and hopefully an incentive for others to stop with the cheating.
-> Apoc's Community Commander Blog
Apoc's updated with another blog, as well as the promise for more frequent ones in the future. He covers many things including changes to the battlecast system and other gaming elements, as well as many other things.
-> C&C3 Command School Episode 2
The second episode of C&C3 Command School is up at commandandconquertv.com. I haven't checked it out yet, so head on over and check it out for yourself!
-> A Path Beyond Team Interviewed
Some of the folks behind the renegade mod, Red Alert: A Path Beyond have been interviewed by EA. The interview covers many things, and includes some nice eye candy to keep you going. Check it out.
-> CNZNZ Tiberian Legos Designer Diary 2
Zee Hypnotist has released the second designer diary for his Tiberian Legos series. Includes lots of explanations and cheesy pictures. Well worth a check out!
-> Sage Advice: C&C3 User Interface
HeXetic from Planet CNC has posted up a first in the series semi-rant-semi-suggestion topic about some of those annoyances with the C&C3 sage engine, the first one being about the user interface, and instructions for units. Hopefully, some of the guys from EA will check it out, and consider fixing some of the issues for Kanes Wrath. If not, its definitely an enjoyable read (as always, with HeXetic's style!) and the guy speaks the truth.
-> Command & Crysis: The Dead Six Media Update
The talked about C&C mod for Crysis, Command & Crysis: The Dead Six has had some recent images publically released showing some of the eye-watering eye candy. The folks were fortunate enough to be one of the few mods to be given access to modding tools for Crysis before the game release.
...and I'm spent. If I've missed stuff. Tell me, and I'll add it.
