Open Map Competition 4 status update.
Subject description: Bout time we have some news on it!
Hello C&C mappers around the world! It's been more than one month and a half since the submission deadline is over. We've received 30 maps and finally, I've received the first report from the judges. So, from the five judges of the contest, Hexetic has already finished to review the maps. The other judges are still playing and analysing each of the 30 maps, which is definitelly not an easy task.
Once all judges send their reports, we'll send a list of recommended maps for EA's Aaron APOC Kaufman, so they'll review which of them can go to Kane's Wrath and, of course, we'll post the results at the traditional slow and painful way (one map per day).
Also, now that OMC4 is nearly over, I am able to organize a traditional OMC4 for Tiberian Sun mappers. For this, I need to know those who are interested on submiting their maps, reviewing the maps and support with their sites. It won't be full of prizes as the C&C3 edition, although Tiberian Sun is featured in the soon to be released C&C Saga bundle. Are you interested? Post here or contact me at bansheeppm[at]hotmail[dot]com (Place OMC4 TS in the title, because I'm getting over 200 junks per day).
For all those who sent their maps, good luck and hopefully we'll see the results soon. If you like OMC4 and wish to support future editions of the contest, there is a Support Us button at the right side of PPM. We accept any kind of donation through paypal, credit card, etc.. to send the prizes for the winners. QUICK_EDIT
I will of course be entering into this! I have been waiting for an OMC to come around since I joined the community.
Nice to know that the judges are getting progress done on those CnC3 maps. I can't wait to see the final outcome and who the winner is of it! _________________ Kalistia Crestland (2)

He'd be a good guy to ask I think
the reason the SMMC failed wasn't just because of Titan, a lot of it was the participants as well, asking for more time.
There were only ever like two people who were ever ready to submit maps. Mine is still incomplete, collecting much much dust. _________________ The Fall of Hammerfest - Epic Tiberian chain story

To be honest, if I'm doing anything with the OMC this year I'll be entering. I've had months of time to judge the recent OMC and I've been overloaded with work. I might possibly enter (I have a half-done map that I'd probably submit if possible) but it depends on how much work is piled on me between now and Christmas. _________________

On second thought, I'll volunteer to be a judge.
Hopefully between my latest map submission, the mapping tutorial I posted, and my feedback of other's maps will show me as qualified for the job..
So then, how many confirmed OMC4-TS judges do we have at this point, and what else do we need to get this competition off the ground? _________________ The Fall of Hammerfest - Epic Tiberian chain story

Nobody confirmed yet. So far, only candidates like DaTS, dutchygamer and now you. If Python gets interested to judge it, he would be the first confirmed judge, since he is experienced and usually does a good job on previous OMCs. That's still far from being enough to make a TS OMC. QUICK_EDIT
I think Aro would be a judge, unless he is entering. He has produced saome good maps so far.
I might give it a go...
...how many maps are you allowed to enter? QUICK_EDIT
If you need judges I'm more than willing to put myself forward for the third OMC in a row. _________________ Webmaster of TiberiumWeb.com Formerly TiberiumSun.com QUICK_EDIT
