It works just like the texture extractor.

Select a folder to extract and enter a file name (with extention, like "GUPredTank_SKN.w3x") and press decompile.
The programm then simple extracts the w3x file from the game.

Thank you. Would there be a w3x importer plugin for 3ds max?

There is no W3X importer plugin for 3ds max.
Also, the w3x decompiler will not produce correct usable output for any W3X file containing ShadeIndices data, BoneInfluences data or animation data.

well...how i can convert that file if i dont know file name?

You can look in the GDIPredator.xml to see what models the predator uses (or any other unit who want to know) or use OS BIGEditor to find the filename.
