PC Probs.

My computer wont turn on on more. I think the power supply burnt out or somethin. It wont turn on. Im currently trying to get a friend to find the problem and to fix it. And I was just about to reformat my HD too Sad

"power on" problems are not hard disk problems... can be a bunch of things... But check the following things:

- Does the power light turns on?
- Does the cooler works?
- Does it reads hard disk and cd?
- Does the image appears?

And also check if the cabbles are correct.

You know I have that prob Ocasionally when someone steps on my power cord and it gets pulled out. I let it sit for ten min then pull the cord out and plug it back in it usually works. But you may need to replace somethin if it just stopped workin.

omg, i did this t a schoool yesterday, for the sencond time, but this time it didnt turn on straight away, i thought i had busted it, all i had to do was what hellfire said, bloody scared, thought i might have to pay for a shite ccomp

sorry guys for the let response. Im at my brothers house visiting for spring break. Im really hopping my friend has found or fixed the problem by the time I get home. Hes really lazy(lazyer than me), but I shouldnt complain, hes doing it for free. If its not done by the time I get home, I might just get it fixed my a professional, but they usually ztype you over with the cost of the repair. Confused

Before my computer went out I put up a new picture for my avatar and signature, but its not showing up no more. Crying or Very sad

I bet I have the oldest computer out of everyone on the fourms, or at least the shitties computer. :S

I just talked to my friend thats fixing my computer, he says he will now get to work fixing my computer. He said he was to busy enjoying his spring break. After all, he had a lan party almost everynight over spring break. Im fairly confident he will fix the problem. he hasnt met a computer he couldnt fix.

O O, try replacing the fuse. it usually is marked by a little red square, but i cant fix it for u, cuz i dont know what kinda comp you got. try telling your freind to fix the fuse.
