I'm currently working on a 'for my own use' mod, and the #1 thing I want (and can't) do at this point are "DamageScalarDetails".

EDIT: It's been solved.

There´s a formation error in your weapon.xml. The opening/closing tags don´t match, you should fix this otherwise the file can´t be compiled.

Also, a damage scalar really only makes sense if you actually define a scalar...

Darnit! The code didn't show up properly.

I'll edit the original thread in a moment.

EDIT: The 'code' function here doesen't work right. I'll upload the cut-down weapon.xml in a .rar (Cut down to just the example.)

Did you already fix the formating error? Unless you do so, your mod will break when compiling, making any change have no effect. If you are using a modified weapon.xml, the error should be in one of the Avatar weapons.

About your code: an Object filter must be used as a child element of the element it is supposed to filter. In the file you supplied however, the DamageNugget is closed even before the Scalars begin - open it up again and place a closing tag after the last damage scalar closing tag:

Oooh! I get what you mean by "formatting error" now! *smacks his forehead*

I'll try that right now.

Thanks!
