Behemoth tank
Subject description: 6 treaded monstrosity
So I started putting this one together today after looking through some RA2 concept art. Its still very primative right now. Still have lots of details to add. This one's gonna be a good.
I know she's looking a little flat up front still. I'm still figuring things out with it. The turret is almost finished. The body I'd say is about 60% completed.
It would fit as a nod unit as of now, but what I have planned will make it a full blown soviet unit. QUICK_EDIT
Do you happen to have an image in mind that you intend to create or are you just going along and seeing how things go? If you are just messing around, It probably will turn out fine in the end after lots of trials. My suggestion is probably to make a picture that you can base the vehicle off of. This helps in many ways. anyways good luck _________________
I'm actually working loosely with RA2 concept art. Just to get some ideas. But manly its all off the top of my head, of how I'd see a giant 6 treaded tank. QUICK_EDIT

gonna be dead honest here, this pretty much looks like an update of the apocolypse tank. i'm not saying it's a bad thing, just merely saying. as for the voxel, it would appear to look nice, but i'm not making any judgments until i see an ingame with normals and the like. keep up the good work behemoth _________________

And I don't blame you. Its based on the apocolypse tank as that was where I got most of my influence from.
I did make very primative and very basic outlines of what I wanted the tank to look like. Then every since I've been adding new ideas. Such as the ram on the front. Came from a sketch.

It's a lovely voxels, however I think you should put a little more work into it. To say the truth seeing the tank's body, you'll have to admit it has a lot of detail, however when you compare it to the turret, you'll see the turret is lacking detail, and the same happens when you compare the turret to the barrels.
The turret has enough space to be improved, maybe some remap stripes. And about the barrel it's thick enough to remove some voxels (something like this), and maybe put that area in a different color to have some variation QUICK_EDIT
I been thinking about it for a while now and realized, wow, its kinda sucks.
So today at school I drew up a new tank and its looking much better. I've also started the voxeling process. Some pictures will come later on tonight! QUICK_EDIT

The first design looks good, the only thing that bothers me about it is the barrel's diameter. The second design looks like an alternative apocalypse design. They both look nice. _________________

Ah, see thats why it was a bad idea to work as you go.
I recommend sketching it out first, getting a feel for the design, then make a silhouette. Once you feel you got a good strong design, you can then etch out details. Also Don't forget to Research!
the apoc is cool but copies, rips and clones..not so much.
