Star Strike 0.6 release is imminent!

EVA-251 has been posting a lot of goodies about his mod, Star Strike. This total conversion for Yuri's Revenge is set in 2019 and brings three factions to the battlefield. The Earth Defense Force, which is one of the last resistances of our planet, a modernistic military coalition composed of the world's leading nations; the Star Strike Interplanetary Army, an powerfull, secretive and obscure company with secret bases on moon and mars with unknown objectives part of any conspiracy thrillers; and finally the Invaders, an enigmatic, highly sophisticated faction that has launched a chaotic, worldwide assault on humanity. The 3rd birthday of the mod was few days ago and, with that, EVA-251 posted some new units that should be featured in the upcomming Star Strike 0.6:

Respectively: IFV, Repair Tank, Main Battle Tank and Artillery, all from Star Strike Interplanetary Army. And there is more:

Respectively: Hover Tank, Ore Miner and Stealth Tank, all from Star Strike Interplanetary Forces.

But if you think that the other sides are weak to beat that, think twice. Earth Defence Forces also received some reinforcements, in the pictures below:

Some of the units featured in these pictures are the M1A3 tank and the EDF Railgun Tank and also, the best navy of the game that belongs to EDF.

Our knowledge on the invaders are still very limited, but maybe you'll learn a bit about them because the next version of the mod is comming soon. Here's all the technical details on it that Eva251 could release:

-Addition of a unique sprite for the Corruption Drone (it currently shares the Bomb Drone)
-Redoing of the SSIA Navy, MLRS, Juggernaut Tank or Airforce

-Reschemed EDF voxels
-New cameos for EDF units
-More detailed buildings (lol)
-Redone SSIA Infantry cameos (Blaster Trooper and Ionic Cannon Trooper most importantly)

This mod has evolved a lot during these years. The mod started with a poor idea and evolved into something much better.

For those interested on this mod, check its official site and get posting your feedback on the official forums. Unfortunatelly old versions of the mod are no longer available because the version that is comming today is really much better than them. Once EVA-251 releases it, we'll be posting another news here. Eva and I did a match yesterday with the new version and it is quite impressive. I've already begun the next versions updates.
