Well, actually i stopped working on my mods several years ago but everything that was pusblished later wasnt really as good as ra2. i want to start modding again and i am happy that the community seems still to be alive and working fine on interessting projects.

i am not a noob anymore but i am completly not up to date. So here are some questions:

1. Do you still use the XCC Tools for Editing the .ini-Files?

2. Has any way been found to make easy Voxels/Shps?

3. Where can i download Voxels and .shps?

------------

I think that many people who find this page have exactly those questions. I would appreciate any help.

Welcome back, commander!

1. We use XCC Mixer to extract the .ini -files from the mixes (been doing it with this tool because there's no better). And most of us edits .ini's with Notepad or Notepad++ (I use both).

2. Yes! Most of us makes VXLs and SHPs with 3d programs. .3ds files can be converted into .vxl files with a tool of Vipr

3. You can find all the assests published for free use (of course credits should be given if you're going to make a public mod) over here: http://www.ppmsite.com/forum/index.php?f=49
