hey guys, is there a way in which, i can remove the sound when a unit cloaks itself or unclocks itself? or the noise when a unit goes out of range of a stealth generator? (without causing any errors if possible)

If yes, where can i disable it?

NOTE: im making this for a mod of a map of mine where you wouldnt know where or even some1 shot u, it would be like magic - no-one would know some1 cloaked would hit and dissappear without being heard!

In rules.ini, there is a section called audio/visual rules. Comment out the line that says CloakSound, and you will be good to go.

Longshanks you need to be little more specific and helping when writing to Jul360kil Laughing <--- Newbie

Jun360kil search for [AudioVisual] in the rules.ini using the CTRL+F combination on the keyboard

In there above the middle of that section should CloakSound= be found.
If you want no sound change whatever it is now to CloakSound=NONE

If you only want it for a specific map open that map with notepad and add
this at the top or bottom of the map file:
Code:
[AudioVisual]
CloakSound=NONE

Also if you already added [AudioVisual] to your map file just add CloakSound=NONE to it

EDIT: TSHyper is correct, was sometime since I fooled around with blank sounds the last time

There is a difference between a newbie who has logic into looking into things before he asks, and a newbie who asks before he does.
