Tiberian Sun: Covert Operations

Hello people of PPM!

I would like to introduce my campaign to you all. Some of you who browse Tibweb or Freedom Studios already know about it. However, I feel it is time to announce it here as well.

My campaign Tiberian Sun: Covert Operations is a simple campaign set. It will only include missions and other important things for SP maps to work well. However, other than that there won't be anything new. So no new graphics or changes to the rules.ini. If I do make changes it will be in each map individually.

TS:CO will consist of missions for GDI, Nod, and *gasp* the Forgotten. As of right now I have about 6 for planned maps. I hope to increase that number in the next few months and to have a small release by the end of summer if not sooner.

If you wish to see more indepth on what Tiberian Sun: Covert Operations is and what has been done so far, then come have a look at our new Forums which are being hosted at tibweb.
(sorry FreedomStudios but I wanted hosting there to as it's specifically Tiberian stuff and can possibly get more attention there...kinda. I will still update at FS to so don't worry)

there is already a mod or two named Covert Operations/Ops

They are XXXX old but they exist Very Happy

I dont care if you name your missions/mod the same thing but I just want to mention there is already a mod named this:

well Ixith's is named "Tiberian Sun covert Ops" #Tongue

It really makes little difference though, it would be as if he named it "Tiberian Twilight" or something -

ahh yes I forgot about that old mod. Though now that you brought it up I remember seeing it in the old Tumsun archive of mods I do believe but when I saw it, I always thought "bah its just one of those 'HAI LETS SEE HOW MANY UNITS WE CAN THROW IN!!'" kind of mods.

Also keep in mind its name is Covert Ops. II while mine is Tiberian Sun: Covert Operations. However if it conflicts with anything I can always make mine. Tiberian Sun: Covert Operations, The Campaign. XD

Actually if you look at the date of that mod its from 1999 so yes its one of those 'OH HAI LETS SEE HOW MANY UNITS WE CAN THROW IN!!'" kind of mods. Laughing

Tibsun modders back in 1999 did not have much modding experience like they do nowdays. (most bigger RA1 mods where better than the TS mods back in 1999 as no one did/or could do new shp's/voxels/maps and the advanced coding stuff like modders can do nowdays)

Go ahead and name your mod "Tiberian Sun: Covert Operations" Ixith otherwise the name will be "TOO LONG"
