So, for Advertising Design III, we were given a contest to enter to make an effective (and appropriate) magazine cover. We had to have an essay to go along with it describing why and how we did it. I used my good friend Aimie as the model. Smile

This actually took quite a bit more work than I thought it would, and I still think the drop shadow on the text is a bit heavy, but It'll work.

I got a 193/200 points, so I'm going to district. Smile

Looks nice,but put something like exclusive!Interview with X etc.

Not too bad Mr. Moosey. I had to do the same thing as I've taken Media studies as one of my main options in school. Anyway yeah, very unprofessional, though the only thing I'd comment on is that the title font looks a bit boring and theres no cost on the magazine cover, unless of course what you've done is exactly what you've been required to do. Oh, and you've got one hot friend right there.

It looks very good, even though I dislike the theme (I hate those girl magazines, they always promote girls to diet... I don't want skeleton-like girls #Tongue

I remember I made a magazine cover once, but what I did was just photoshop my face onto the movie poster of "A Night at the Roxy" and then add "Score Magazine" oo the top. It was pretty epic back then. (I also made a calanderwith every month a different photoshop with my face on it....you should see February)

Lol. I like how despite how different each little blurb is. its all about looking like the "best" girl in school. Depends, bad or good? A way to reinforce your message or...?

Overall Its nice, thought, only technical thingies i see. is the background is far crisper than your lady friend.

Maybe due to a slightly lower-res than the stock image of the Effiel tower?

Also, the title font, seems slightly out of place...ahh xD
