Spotlight News:
- CnCCommunity.net has been released on the August 4th! And it's doing a good job as a community hub. Many fans and developpers already posted news there, including a news about a demo of Generals that, in my opinion, is comming too late. It's EA's marketing, but Zero Hour might be released in few months, so it's a waste of time to think about a demonstration single player map of Generals in the moment. There is also a poll over there about the best actor. I can't believe that Tanya is winning Kane! Affiliate News:
- RADEN has one new RA2 map and one great YR map pack. This YR map pack even includes a "Sim City" simulation where the population arrives in parachutes. I really think it's very nice to see inovative maps like this one. What are you waiting for? Go there and build a cool city with your Yuri's Revenge!
- YR Argentina has 2 menu sets made by ArgCmdr. One is blue and other is green. It's great to be used in case you are tired of that red menu from the game.
- Origin Modding has 2 new tutorials for Generals. One about reskinning voxels with hex editor and another about File Types for those who are still starting to learn to mod Generals. They also have oldmanfunk's beige Pathfinder re-skin available for download.
Mod News:
- Sudden Strike and C&C Reloaded reported to have a good progress with beta-testing and have new beta versions available for them, while Fenring, from Master Fenring Mods reported that the version 4.0 of YR Advanced might be available in a month with a killer AI.
Design News (was I supposed to post about that?):
- Red Generals and Origin-Network gained a new design. Red Generals also released a new screenie that was also showed here.
