And we continue with PPM Hosted News...
Subject description: Covering June 1st 2008.
Hello everyone! With life being a big (yet fun) mess, it is being hard to update the site and manage my time properly. At this moment, I still have write a physics report for tomorrow. Since the beggining of the year I've been studying for a Cambridge exam that I'd take in the middle of the month, the Certificate in Advanced English. Now I'll have to miss that exam because I wanna be many miles away from it? Sounds crazy? And that's not all... I have a lot to do in a week to make this whole mess happen. So, it won't be a surprise if PPM seems to be too silent in the news for the next days, although I'm really glad I won't have any tests in my university in this month, except for the very last day.
Anyway, it is time continue the news I had to interrupt on 24th about the mods hosted on PPM.
Tiberian Sun & Firestorm Modifications:
-> Tiberian Sun: Rise Of the Omnius had a lot of interesting unit models displayed in the last month. Take a look at the renders of some of units that should be featured in the GDI faction:
Leviathan Mech:
Re-textured Titan:
Droppod Trooper (with shields and energy cannon):
Droppod Trooper (with dual machineguns)
At the moment, this one was temporarily called "Drop Turret":
-> Fallout Wars: A Post Apocalyptic RTS Game has been updated with new cameos shown in the screenshot below, which gives you an idea of this mod, which is hardly featured in the news. For those who doesn't know, this is a fan sequel of the Fallout cannon on Tiberian Sun.
Note however, that the old cameos will be replaced as well. The mod is on very early stages. Click in the picture for more information.
Terror From The Deep has a new Magnetic Sonar, which serves as radar from the Alien faction.
-> RA2: Moscow's Vengeance has a new Diesel Submarine for the Soviets which replaces the normal submarine. Good against cheap ships, but a joke for destroyers.
about Tiberian Sun: Rise Of the Omnius Model.
it's design looking good, but are you sure those unit will match with your old? or you plan to remake it all? QUICK_EDIT

Well I'm not going to remake everything, I'm just retexturing some old units, and remaking some of them. I plan to release some of the old units, when I'm done with this.
