Looking to do some 3D buildings with maya

Hey all I've been doing some looking around and wondered if I can get the camera and settings right for Maya I can make buildings for YR

Have more experience using maya than 3DS is so I just want to know if anyone whos used maya for this purpose if the render settings can be set to render for the TGA export?

would save me time trying to learn 3DS if I can render out in maya

yea the render settings can export targas

.I don't think there is a script for maya like there is for 3ds max, you would simply have to set up a template file with all the camera settings lights with the appropriate shadow color etc, and use render layers. Wink
