Would anyone be interested in a few hundred WW2 vxls? D-day's long development has left a trail of old & unused Gfx which are no use to me anymore but could be to someone else. Most are from v3.2/3.3 of D-day & years old, only one or two vxls have survived from that era to be in the current version. If there is enough interest I'll sort the (450 ish) files & pick out the usable stuff, there are pics of them on the D-day site BTW if you want to see them in action.

I've got lots of old shp & tmp work also laying around, I might release them in the future too...

What the hell happened to my post? Confused
Anyway, to repeat what I said before, what I'm interested in are the SHP's, me and a friend of mine are going to make a public mod, but he's already a very capable voxel artist. An old private mod of mine was my own recreation of World War II as I used to be really interested in it myself, but I stopped development on that mod as soon as I saw D-Day. In any case, Mig, could I spare a moment of your time to check your Private messages in-box?

Go for it man, especially the SHPs, release anything you don't need. But if you need it keep it man. Does this mean the D-Day release is impending?

God damn I did chuckle at 'a few hundred'. Someone could probably make use of them or at least learn from them I imagine.

It's unfortunate that things have come to this, but none the less, please do release said resources. It'd be a shame for them to never see the light of day.

Well there is normally 3 files per tank & 2 per plane (versions with & with out turret/propellers etc). There are some similar units too like Mk.I & Mk.IV etc. There is nowhere near 450 units! probably something more like 150, I wont know until I go threw them all tho.

Public release them. New assets are always good for the community.

150 voxels, with 2-3 different forms. And you have 4600 voxels a total. Blegh, the time invested...

Yeah, releasing would be good.

Better to find community uses than just trashing them imho.

I've actually gotten a nice unit out of two disused D-Day units from you before, and I think they'll help out a lot with people just learning to voxel without 3d files.

DDay's not dead, this is just stuff that he replaced with better versions, etc.

And Blueguard? Sure it won't be current D-day standard, that's why they're being released, it'll still be of quite a high standard though if what migeater considers releasable is anything to go by.

It's still his work Razz .
His early work was planned for the mod, so it must be 'good' at the very least Wink
