I'm really getting pissed off over this. I can't seem to make a working railgun. I've tried using LtRail, and MechRailgun on an infantry unit, but neither seem to work. At first I thought it was a problem with the unit but once I put it onto another unit it crashed as well. I don't really need to bother posting the code but I will to make it easier.

To be honest, it should work fine, I just don't understand what could be affecting it.

does an unmodified one work?

I seem to remember people having trouble with the railguns in RA2/YR before

you changed:

SpiralRadius=6
ParticlesPerCoord=.1
MovementPerturbationCoefficient=.3
LaserColor=

and Report=

color and report shouldn't cause problems....

are you sure you want Verses=100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100% , why not Verses=100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,100%,0% ?

The Railgun works fine in YR (for me at least). I haven't tried the "smallrailpart" yet, only the large one...

The regular LtRail works fine, are you sure you haven't made any mistakes in the naming (Its best to use full caps for names to be sure there are no errors)

change the report into the real sound firing. it should work because it worked for me

I've tried it unmodified and it didn't work either. I'll check the names are correct and hope it works. And the sounds would have nothing to do with it, it does exist as well.

Thought I'd like to tell everyone I got it working. Actually it was quite a stupid error Rolling Eyes
The weapon attached to the railgunner was ItRail. I put an I instead of L.

lol, i make those kinds of mistakes too, they seem to be the hardest to find and the last place u look, but they are by far the easiest to fix
