Maybe it is possible to have a vehicle which transport other
So, how the title said, I did played with the locomotors and found something out. If you change the locomotor of the aircraft [like here {4A582742-9839-11d1-B709-00A024DDAFD1}], you get an hover plane which can vulnerabled by ground weapons, act like a ground vehicle (ok, it unloads infantry very strange) but can transport a vehicle if it has carryall=yes ! If this is already know, sorry...
EDIT: If you make also Passengers=1 or something like this, you first inload a vehicle and the a infantry unit, the vehicle will graphically disapperar, but come out like an infantry
EDIT2: Also works with subterrain
EDIT3: It doesnt work wit normal ground movement
EDIT4: It works also with teleporting...
EDIT5: Huh, I changed the locomotor of the Drop ship - it doesnt work like the other one I tested, the Orca Transporter. If you destroy a Drop Ship with locomotor {4A582742-9839-11d1-B709-00A024DDAFD1}, it will stay there, you can select it, but it isn't able to do anything. It's just there... You can't do anything with it - not attack, not inload or something else... And it can't inload infantry - well, it can, but it can't unload them - the drop ship bug xD _________________

I think he edited the post to tell us it didn't work.
I tested this before and it didn't work. I tested it again just to be sure, and yeah- it didn't work.
(don't worry Morhper, I only did this for testing )
Yes and No. I know, my title is more then confusing (I was a little bit tired, when I made it ). I found a workaround - more or less... You have to change the Locomotor of an aircraft, I did it with the Orca Transporter, to subterrain or hover and add then the tag Carryall=yes. You get a plane which acts like a vehicle but can carry another vehicle (I will post screenies ASAP). It will be builded on a helipad, but it will act like a vehicle (it ISN'T immune to veins if it is subbterrain, and I didn't test it totally but it is vulnerable to ground weapons. I will test it if also AA weapons will attack it, but if you orgder two subterrains to carry one vehicle., one of these two will flee out of the map... I only could it order back by selecting through "next unit" key... And Hover seems to be bugged if there are two hovers ordered to the same position, one of these will unload somewhere else (one time it was about 10 cells away from the other!) or just dont unload...) _________________

Yeah, I know, but for that I discorvered the second trick: make Passenger=1 and order an infantry to go into this apc after it did grab the vehicle. The vehicle will disappear, but unload lika an infantry...
And I thought you can edit shps and vxls...? xD

That was also my thought... Someone asked for some time if you could make a transporter like in RA2 - I mean this Hover APC. Well, now it seems to be possible
And: it has to work! I used this underground Carryall Logic also on online maps (well, there was a graphic error, probably because of the heigh=0 :you could see a part of the transported vehicle xD) _________________

well, It seems that I oversee an error. It doesn't matter which aircraft I destroy, if it has hover, it will be there, you can't do anything with it, it can`t be destroyed, it blocks the cell and you can't loose - if short game is off. So, you won't be able to use this logic for making a vehicle hover transporter This error is just too nasty, but the underground and the teleport logic is working correctly, I think. Well, I will make some other researches about it, maybe I have just to change the movementZone, or whatever...
Also: if a hover carryall is affected by emp, it will be destroyed, I don't know if it will be changed by the movementzone, I didn't test this yet. _________________

hmmm, hmmm, I didn't test it yet, it's just that you cant say "KILL IT!" xD And if I captured, they were still there, just doing nothing. That remaind me playing civilians online and surrender then, I won't be able to do anything (as long, as no civilian unit is there xD) but I won't be able to select the menu... Like here, if you captured... _________________
