C&C.com Interviews Banshee about the Open Map Competition 4!
I was recently interviewed by EA_2poc at the official CommandAndConquer.com site. Last year, I've organized the Open Map Competition 4 with the support from many community friends such as Chickendippers, Mastermind, Hexetic, YkudzA, Scrin Mastermind, Mighty BOB, Bhones and also the great people who had the patience to play and review every single map like Clazzy, Hexetic, Bhones, Assassin and spyVspy. EALA originally sponsored the event with the prize: 'best maps might be included on Kane's Wrath'. Due to the delay on getting the results, the prizes were postponed and it became 'best maps might be included on first patch for Kane's Wrath', however, the game was released with desynch bugs and some other serious problems that made the dev team declare the first patch as an emergency patch and that cut the maps from it. So, the prize became 'best maps might be included on future patch for Kane's Wrath whenever possible, if it is possible'.
In order to compensate these unforeseen problems, they are now promoting the maps there and there is also an interview with me talking about the competition. Here's a snippet:
