Should We Keep Supporting Warcraft 3?
Hey guys, as some of you might be guessing, Tapek is probably leaving PPM. He was the only descent Warcraft 3 modder here, since I'm just a map scripter. With the attempts to remove his own tutorials, he wiped the whole VoodooLounge (warcraft3 modding) forums, including tutorials and maps.
I am also working in a map called Wintermaul Wars X. Wintermaul Wars is a popular kind of map, pratically open source (although I credit the ones who created older versions than mine) where you have to build attackers and manage to make 25 of them to reach the ship before the enemy does the same. To prevent them reaching the ship, you have to build towers, maze and do this kind of stuff. I am adding an artificial inteligence there which is playing well (you can only beat it if you dont let build level 2 attackers ) and I've fixed all (known) bugs from 0.84X.
Also, I should point out that Tibercraft and Legacy Of warcraft are no longer PPM projects, since they were projects from Tapek.
So, my today's question is, should PPM continue to support this game or, it's a waste of time? The options are:
- Yes, keep it.
- Just leave Wintermaul Wars X as a separate project.
- No, Remove Warcraft 3. QUICK_EDIT

depends on the questions, Kravitz... only relating to map triggers and mapping in general, by I dont know a crap of texturing units and exporting them as .mdl files... QUICK_EDIT

After re-reading all replies, I decided to keep Wintermaul Wars X as a separate project and wipe warcraft 3 modding forums, unless someone goes against that.
