Good start!

Logos needs to stand out more though, and the right hand side is too plain, plus the transition between the black and the red is too... sharp / sudden.

Perfect. Don't change anything, maybe aside from trying out some transparency on the gun.

Anyways, looks really nice! I suggest adding a border around the logo, so it stands out more

The wallpaper would be perfect without that red line in the middle... Wink

IMHO it spoils the effect.
