Movies won't play

i've installed ra2/yr into my pc... why wouldn't movies play??

whenever i press "Play Movie" button... the buttons just simply sweeps away and back... do i need files to play them?

Play Movie? Where in the game does it have that?

Movies play on there own during missions and so...

Hyper, look at Main Menu -> Movies & Credits -> Play Movies ...

Probably means there arnt movies to watch. Got any mission saves?

(Although I think you can rewatch the intro, so even that wouldnt make sense)

nope.... even i play missions... movies simply skips...

maybe there are files that are lacking... can it be??

where can i download those files if any??

LOL the movies take up over 600 MB for YR alone.

Maybe you are using pirated copy of game?
This problem also can arise because game can't use cd normaly(i don't know why), or cd was copied and the name of copied cd is not YR1;
However you can copy movmd03.mix from your YR CD to game dir and this trouble will be automaticly solved.

i dont know if it is a pirated copy... anyways, movmd.mix do exists in my directory, but shows it occupies 1kb only.... does anyone have a copy of it?? will someone give me a link of it? thnks

i am really sorry about my first post; i have to correct this,. i've just simply copied my friend's YR directory (together with YR files of course) and pasted it to my PC.. that's it...

and its easier to buy the game than expect somebody begin uploading 600mb or more to some websites for some nobody and no gain. Rolling Eyes

copying friend files means, its a RIP version since it works, else it would ask you for CD/DVD! Neutral

plus modding networks dont support pirated game so get out asking and buy it like rest of us.
