Command & Conquer: Tiberian Outbreak
Subject description: The Scrin invasion is upon us
Edit, changed title and added new art.
I checked on the mod announcements thread and as far as I know this mod name Isn't taken, if it is sorry and I'll change it yet again.

Felt like doing something different, so I'm taking on the epic task of making a new mod. Like the subject suggests my mods called CnC: A New Tiberia. The mods essentially a development on the existing Tiberian Sun Storyline with some vague references to CnC 3. The Storyline will explain the rest.
Storyline
The Year is 2230, two hundred years after the second tiberian war. After the complete devastation the tiberian onslaught brought about, it is calculated that almost 80 percent of Earths existing life was wiped out and another 10 percent highly mutated beyond recognition. With the human race barely surviving, both NOD and GDI were nearly disbanded. The formerly unimposing Forgotten have now organised and become a formidable opposition, imposing a new world order, however with the earth now adapting and beginning to flourish in it's new Tiberian ecosystem, the newly transformed human race has emerged from the security of the underground to create a new society equipped to deal with the challenges tiberium once threatened. Though the human race is once again thriving, a new threat looms, the long forgotten alien race "the Scrin" are now beginning to return to earth. Recent reports of mysterious Scrin sightings are beginning to cause paranoia amongst the waring factions. with the threat growing day by day, the new world superpower the Forgotten are offering a truce between the forces in order to fend of the the approaching armada, GDI accepts and joins the new found alliance sharing technologies and supplies while NOD refuses and remains elusive moving in and out of the highly infected Red Zones to avoid detection. With the Scrin invasion nearly upon us, Earth Braces Itself for what might be the last stand of the human race.

I got the idea of a new era, an era of tiberium. tiberium + era= Tiberia.

Unless you have a really good idea of what to do, I would suggest making cosmetic changes to TS, rather than taking on an epic task straight off.
I'm doing just that, and when I've learned the engine's ins and outs, then I will do something public.

Sorry Omega, didn't realize there was a mod already with such a similar name. I will have to do something about the title, and yea Orac some definate use of Maori. Im a kiwi and generally try to use Maori when ever i get the chance.
Anyways Heres some concept sketches I did during school today.

And also if anyone has any suggestions about a new title suiting the theme of the mod feel free to post new ideas
Nice concepts! The battlescene is way too blurry though, I can hardly distinguish some shapes of infantry.
Like mentioned before, the project name needs to be changed. I see you're trying to have it reflect an age of Tiberium. "Tiberian" + something the best approach in my mind. _________________ QUICK_EDIT
Other ways of picking a name are to think of important aspects of the story, eg. 'Deus Ex Kane' and 'Evolutionary Response' where TS' campaign names and 'Firestorm' was named after the offensive against CABAL.
Going over your idea, I remember having a very similar concept a few months ago - GDI and Nod both dispanded and forgotten, with the story following the plight of some survivors.
The name I came up with for that was 'Tiberian Survivors', so if you can't think of anything else then you can have it.

I think you should leave out GDI and Nod, and have the forgotten battle just the scrin.
two hundred years in, there wouldn't be a trace left of non-tiberium life.. It could be a struggle of the mutated humans to try and form a structured society in the new terrain and ecosystem that tiberium gave the earth.. Tiberian Outbreak would be fitting for a Tiberian Dawn prequel adventure game in which you play either Mobious or Kane to be the first to discover Tiberium, lol.
