Well, get this DLL. It will cure your ills. However, there is no absolute guarantee.

I do not take credit for this DLL. I am simply hosting it for easy access.

You're a smart guy, Hyper, but test things before you say otherwise. It _does_ work, I have tested it and seen the effects myself.

Huh? I tested this a number of times over the years, and its had no effects for me, or others i have asked.

It worked for me, my brother, tons of my friends and Chrisse. I dropped it in the reduction was very noticeable. It's not a 100% guarantee though, and I never claimed it would be. I'll make a note of it though.

Strange, but i dont see the difference, its just a ddraw.dll from the system32 folder placed in the games root, so eather way it would load it...

And i remember when this started to be passed around, and it dont seem like a custom ddraw.dll, just one dumped from someones computer.

Anyhow, ill test it again...

Maybe the link should be removed and replaced with the instructions on how to disable the back buffer in ra2md.ini rather than encouraging people to download random dll files?
