Well I also do cameos with such improvements (sharping, lighting, trees and rocks, adding some reflexes in the windows, ...). But I have realized it's not necessary to have all of these improvements because cameo's small.
(that truck will be probably changed to normal "supply truck", it had to launch swarms of missiles but such mechanism would be too complicated and buggy then in real life, I only modified voxel made by me2, it will be in my voxel scrapPack like few else).
Another way is use render of 3D model, concept art (most of the centurion cameos) or photo of some real unit:
