So I've been away for a while and I can see this site is still alive and kicking thanks to a strong C&C community. Glad to be back.

Again I've been going old school and getting my latest TS fix. After trying the few mods that are out there for TS and TS:FS with Tiberian Sun Retro being the best as of yet I'm ready to test the waters to make a complete mod of my own. I'm talking about simple INI.file editing I'm talking like creating a whole new line of units and coding in new attributes.

So far the GDI and NOD tactics and fighting styles have not changed. The GDI still take the advantage of using tough and rugged units, heavy firepower and utilizing shock and awe tactics. Nod on the other hand favors speed and stealth tactics by using cheap and relatively weaker units in numbers.

Ideas for the GDI:
Orbital shock troops (the GDI A team)
Missile troopers (Anti-armor support)
Bulldog (precursor to the pitbull)
Armed Amphibious APC with turret
Radar Artillery (a blast from the past)
Mammoth Tank (another blast from the past)
Satellite uplink (reveals entire map after countdown)
Disruptor tower (the early sonic tower if you will)
Usable ORCA Transport

Ideas for the Brotherhood of Nod
Blackhand shock troops (the Nod A Team)
Chameleon troops (like from Renegade)
Chemical dogs (chemical troops)
Nod terrorist (suicide unit)
Light tank (can be used as ground APC)
Retro Flame tank (the unholy terror of infantry returns)
Laser tank (not quite a mobile obelisk, but its close enough)
Stinger (VTOL fighter/bomber)
Nod airfield (drops in reinforcements and additional units like Tiberian Dawn)

Other changes:
Forgotten hutts: You can capture this building and train Forgotten mercinaries like Ghost Stalker, Umagon, Tratos and mutant militants

Commandos: Ah yes the commando makes a comeback this time for both sides.

Seperate E1 infantry. The GDI base unit won't be light infantry, instead it'll be replaced by the GDI marine a slightly tougher and more expensive to the Nod Militant counterpart. I'm not sure how to pull this off without messing up the game too much.

Any takers what I need and where should I start?

Start with making some concept art, and then with that, make the graphics (buildings, etc.)
