Small the barrels, length-wise and a little x and Y axis too, put the turret over the centre of the body and get rid of the dark blob on the front, shade it if you want but IMO a dark splodge on the front will look bad ingame. _________________ Yes, work on MV continues. distorted renegay pics proove nothing
If you look at nyer's pic of the mammoth from the TD FMV and the RA1 pics of it you will indeed see that the barrels are far too large, and everyone knows that the concepts for renegade got screwed with like F*ed up and wrong vehicles (G6 Rhino instead of M110, Screwey Hummer instead of real one, Nod having an APC that is totally different form anything either in game or in TD cutscenes, Nod Light tank being spacked out future design..... and so on).[/pointless lecture ] _________________ Yes, work on MV continues. Aro, hardly.
Change this to GDI scheme, and there ya go.
And on topic, the voxel is good, but lacks detail and has some accuracy issues. (I trust it is WIP tho) _________________ YR modder/artist, DOOM mapper, aka evanb90

Well, the TD ones has sharper contours and few other differences like sloping holders of barrels.

I hate TS Normals, the size look more to RA2 size but the shape looks good though , i'm waiting too see the texture _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT
I'd get rid of the balc things infront of the missiles. At certain angles, it looks like they are coming out of it. Thid defiantly makes the top 1,000 mammoth tank remakes though _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

Looks pretty awesome, in my opinion. Conveys that powerful feeling that I don't really get from the Apocalypse tank. _________________ "The thing about biology is that while it is really easy to kill a lot of something, it's a lot harder to kill all of something. It looks good, although I think it should have a gritty-er texture to the paint job. It looks too flat. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

QFT dude! the Apocalypse was graphically a joke by default, it was too small and ugly be called a supertank. Heck, fan made versions put Westwood to shame. _________________

IMO: TX1138's Apocalypse is the best version of APOC made by that TJFrame's concept...
And I think this mammoth looks awesome, that turret thingy (length) is common with many today tanks, so that's not such problem ... _________________

Its been a while since I update this thread so anyways... I'm not a Anime fan normally (was never into it) but I got some private request from someone a while ago that showed this awesome aircraft:
and I was like Oh Shi* I need to make one of those. Then about an hour later it came out good so far but still far from finished I also might work on the FRX-00 MAVE too since I got a hold of the blueprint of that too, just to keep me from getting bored from making modern themed voxels like I normally do all the time.
And about the Mammoth Tank, I'm thinking if I should release it since I stop working on it so expect it to be available for download at the voxel forum soon.

Well I didn't (I don't watch anime), I'm not familiar with the story and plot Whatever it was, it has some fancy aircraft that caught my attention _________________

Those aircraft ARE really fancy, yes. Also they don't have the missile spams the Macross series have.
IMO the Super Slyph's...stabilizers look kinda...strange. Too thin or something...I dunno. _________________ Please, read the signature rules of the forum. QUICK_EDIT

Nah, Ace Combat was more like an alternate universe of the real world, but some of the boss fights and battles does give it that intense action feeling that you'll see in anime shows (especially in AC6, so much missile, FLAK, and AAguns spam). Also when times goes ahead to the future in the AC world, that's when it become completely orginal . Also heres an update, don't mind the normals and its current skin. I'm gonna work on that tommorow.

Orly? I'd like to see your version of the Super Sylph . Anyways, I'm almost done with the normals, just finished the top part. I definitely need to make a tutorial on handpainting Normals soon, because its not so hard at all once you know all the tricks behind it
