I open Final alert and go to FILE, NEW, Multiplayer map etc, and I have this problem...
It does not show up like it is supposed to right????

Nonono, not a Vista PROBLEM. The program hasn't been made for Vista... The FinalAlert dude should make a Vista version.

Everyone whining about Vista, while Vista finally putted some very needed features in Windows.

Well, the maker made this when Vista wasn't around yet ;( This program works perfectly for me, but then again I am the only one allowed on my vista (XD)... If it isn't the Operating System (Vista that is), then the target of the EXE for you might be in the wrong folder, or you moved some mix files away from the folder that the program needs to run properly.
