Well I wanna know if rock patch 1.10 has a unit limit and what it might be. Also I wanna know why my game crashes. What happens is I start up the game. Try to start up a skirmish and the game starts as normal but when it gets to the battlefield the sidebar goes to 143 credits exactly and then freezes then the game crashes. I don't get an IE or anything its just that Windows error reporting thing. So the game worked fine until i tried to add just one more new unit (may have added too many) and then this all happens. The way i did the new unit was I just copied the code from the flak track and gave it the gattling cannon. I wasn't trying to make the gat cannon get faster either i just wanted that weapon. I've done it before with that weapon so nothing should be wrong. If you need to look at the code go for it I'll post it upon request. Any suggestions would be nice.

The RP 1.10 "freezes" occur at random for no real verifiable reason. (I get it too)

RP 1.10 does have a unit limit per both the Whiteboy bug and the 100 units bug. Both of these bugs had their levels increased.

Meaning it takes more units in the sidebar to cause the Whiteboy bug, and more units in the inis to cause the 100 units bug. (I believe both were raised to 200)

damn well i guess im gonna go count how many i've added unless it it just the random crash bs...that sux. Is there maybe another "extra features patch" thats better than rpatch? is npatch better?

If it crashes as 143 exactly, perhaps the problem is that the enemy ai is deploying it's mcv into something crash worthy?

If RP doesn't work, then try NPatch.

Just remember that some are against it, and are prepared to argue over it at a moments notice Wink

As for the AI MCV they shouldnt b doing anything wrong. i never changed em in any way. and yeah i could try n patch but well im prepared for fanboy answers. *sigh* guess i gotta start over again.

The NPatch isn't that bad. I've been using it for a while now and I've only generated one patch related error but even that was still my fault.

ya know i havnt tried starting games with other sides. And im sure its not a patch error kuz i dont get an IE. Just another normal windows EXE problem...effin windows lol

Well i found out that the problem is coming from the allies....i did add a new unit to their roster and maybe there is something wrong with it...well im too lazy to try to fix it now.
