This all looks very nice. That Wind Trap in the second screen is a bit out of place though. I know it's supposed to be a power plant, but it is, in fact, a wind trap. You can't argue with reality. (Well, you can, but that would involve drug/alcohol abuse) _________________ QUICK_EDIT

Agreed, this stuff is great, looks better than the old cliff sets . Anyways for a quick offtopic: would you mind moving or pin your cliff tutorial so it won't get lost. I think its good enough since it covers enough steps to get started with terrain design. _________________

Brightness will be changed in-game and I think that current brightness (daytime) makes those cliffs to be near surface. Anyway, this is just an early (serious) progress, so anything can happen when we get near release... QUICK_EDIT
