While I've been quietly tortured by the physics tests during the last days, the community has been seeding the bases of a new modding era with additional public knowledge. And it is my duty, as a news poster, to make these tutorials more effective. So, here we go:

How to Construct A Floating Island Fortress
By The Forgotten
For Red Alert 3

This tutorial describes all steps to create a floating island fortress like the japanese one you see in the Allied campaign.

Add a B2-Bomber
By Delta
For Red Alert 2/Yuri's Revenge

Delta has shared the code to make a fully functional cool B2 Bomber like the one in the video above.

Low Poly Modelling Tutorial
By ruby92
For Generals, but it may also help with any C&C game.

The tutorial links to a rar file that contains a render of the tank, the model and a document with the tutorial. The tutorial is simple, with a lot of pictures to help and some completely random spam to fill the gaps. Despite the spam, it is a quite helpfull tutorial. Should be interesting to introduce people into the basics of 3ds max/GMAX, although it was designed for 3ds max.

And if you browse our forums, you'll find out a lot of interesting things as well. Some of them will be spotlighted in future news.

Nice tutorials.
But that wasnt a B2 Bomber in the second video.
Just the Paratrooper aircraft armed with blimb-bombs.
This is a B2 Very Happy

I haven't paid much attention to the video itself. But the blimb bombs effect is interesting.

yep

only this ones got the ability to show a grid (and the stupid way of putting in water)

and who says EA dont put lots of work in to the game and its tools

lol generals, battle for middle earth, C&C3 and RA3 (i bet one/the expansion/s for ra3 adds in 2-3 sub fractions for each army)

Gee, what odd, if it's working and they keep using the same engine. Stop the EA bashing, or make a separate thread for it, but don't do it in a tutorial news post Rolling Eyes

I don't like EAs map editor because out of all the RTS map editors I've used theirs is the hardest to work with.
