Need help with home work.

I'm doing an assignment on "The impact of technology on society".
The themes given were:
.Transport
.Communication
.Manufacturing
.Service Industry

I want to do manufacturing but I don't know on what plus I can't do any site visits Sad

(I hate school) any way I need some help.

People get cars, they can now travel over large distances quickly and efficently. People live and work in the cities, they don't like the city. They can live in the suburbs and commute into the cities. Many people do this. Traffic is created, people must spend much more time traveling because of this, and therefore must leave for work earlier. People now spend considerable amounts of time sitting in their cars-often times by themselves-for upto and sometimes over two hours a day. People are getting lonly during that time-talk radio becomes an alternative for human contact. Road rage becomes prevelant. The cellphone is invented. People can now talk to each other while in their cars. They do this alot. Driver awareness decreases as a person uses their cellphones. The rate of accidents goes up because of this.

as commuters began waking up earlier and earlier, they needed something to help keep them awake to account for lost sleep. Coffee chains with drive throughs ganed wide populatiry. Soon some people became addicted to caffine....

Fast food chains with drive throughs were combined with the coffee ones, that allowed anyone with a couple of bucks to get a quick snack, or their breakfast/lunch/dinner/dessert meal deals. Save Big! Get big. Cars lessen the amount of physical strength needed to commute to anywhere where roads go.
