Okay, I'm trying to make myself a SCUD Launcher unit for my mod, just in case I find a use for it. But every time I load up the game and build up to use it, it never appears in my build bars... I have my rules.ini file uploaded for this for you guys to look and help.

Basically, I'm adding a SCUD Launcher to the game, with it's own custom weapon and particle system, since I'm also adding a Chemical Missile Launcher... Would the problem with the units themselves not appearing be because I also have weapons using the same entry names?

I would change the weapon or vehicle names, because I've never seen both have the same name in either TS or RA.

I would change the number of the vehicle in the VehicleType section. This has happened to me in YR, and chaging the number mysteriouly makes thign work

Well, I only added two units to the vehicles.. I'm going to change the name of the other entries for my unit, and not the unit entry and see what happens.

Okay, I changed the weapon/projectile/warhead entries, but now when the game loads I am able to build the units, BUT when they attack I get an IE... I'm going to post it up in the topic Hyper made so he can tell me, knowing the IE genius he is :p and see what is wrong.

why bothering Hyper with an IE, where you already know why and where it happens? He can't tell you the exact ini error anyway and just a direction where it happened (like an error in the weapon code), but that you know already.
So check your code and find the error yourself.

In case you don't know, Hypers IE topic is for IE's where you have no clue why they happen and not for IE's where you know already why they happen and are just to lazy to check the code. Wink
